Welcome to TapeMuse, owned and operated by TAPEMUSE FZCO. Our platform provides educational research, AI-assisted analysis, and backtesting tools. By accessing the Platform, you explicitly agree to these Terms of Service, including account responsibilities and financial risk disclosures.

2. User Accounts & Data Collection

Account Creation: You must create an account with a valid email address with accurate, up-to-date information.
Account Security: You are solely responsible for safeguarding your credentials. Notify us immediately at support@tapemusebot.com if a breach occurs.
Data Privacy: Data is processed according to our Privacy Policy. You consent to the collection and storage of your information to facilitate services.

3. Services Description

TapeMuse provides research and backtesting tools. While we assist in strategy development, we do not guarantee financial outcomes.

Backtesting Limitations: Results are historical simulations and do not represent actual trading results or guarantee future performance.

4. Payments & Currencies

Payment Methods: Processed via Stripe (USD, EUR, GBP).
Refunds: Fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
Taxes: Users are responsible for all applicable local taxes and duties.
Subscriptions & Credits: Credits are used for compute-intensive tasks. Unused credits at the end of a cycle are forfeited; top-up credits do not expire while your account is active.

5. Data Storage & Hosting

Services are hosted on AWS. Data is retained until account deletion or as required by law.

6. Liability & Indemnification

Services are provided "AS IS." TapeMuse is not liable for financial losses, technical failures, or decisions made based on Platform outputs. Users agree to indemnify TapeMuse against claims arising from Platform use.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). All disputes shall be resolved in UAE courts.

12. Changes to Terms

Updates take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

We collect Account Information (name, email, payment details via Stripe), Activity Data (strategies, backtests), Device Information, Wallet Connection Data (public address only), Public Profile data, and Communications.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to process payments, provide analytics, manage rewards, display leaderboards, communicate updates, and detect fraud. TapeMuse does not sell, trade, or rent personal information to third parties.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Information may be disclosed to service providers (Stripe, AWS, etc.) to perform services, or to comply with laws, regulations, or legal processes. In a merger, acquisition, or sale, user information may be transferred in accordance with applicable laws.

5. Data Retention

Personal data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, most research data and wallet linkages are permanently erased. Note: Blockchain transactions already recorded (e.g., CQX rewards) cannot be erased.
